The Pear Fair The Pear Fair is a juried handmade indie craft and design fair that takes place on College Hill at the intersection of 22nd and College St. No admission fee.

Pear Fair 2025 happens on Saturday September 27 11-5. All are welcome. Look for the big tent! We'll be hosting our 11th Annual Open Air Indie Craft Fair event on September 24 11-5. Local and regional handmade vendors presenting unique pieces made from a variety of new, upcycled, locally sourced, and vintage materials. Today! Pear Fair is our annual open air indie craft and design fair under the big tent and it happens today Saturday Sept 27 11-5. Intersection of 22nd and College St. just North of Mohair Pear. No admission fee. All are welcome. 40+ vendors, La Calle and the vinyl tent. Lots of fun. Please share. Mohair Pear is open 7 days a week and we take piercing appointments at 319 266 6077. Buying local keeps our consumer dollars in our community. Thats important. Local people making things and selling them directly to you. Meeting and talking with them is not only possible, but likely! I love upcycling and sewing old tshirts on to flannels and denim jackets/shirts. I also make h**p jewelry made with handmade clay beads, glass beads, stone beads and plastic beads with unique pendants. I have been getting back in to embroidery and make hand embroidered dish clothes.
