🏁 WE’RE MOVING!
3 years. Over 5,200 drivers. More than 296,000 laps. And we’re just getting started!
For the better part of the last year, we’ve been thinking about what comes next for Grid Lounge. With our current lease coming to an end, we knew one thing for certain: We wanted to stay in the Cedar Falls Downtown District. Finding the right space, however, was proving to be a challenge.
Then one day, while sitting in his office at Pixel Labs, Zach looked out at the space around him. It was a space that, while important to Pixel Labs, wasn’t being used to its full potential most days.
He started walking around, imagining what it could become.
What if we took down the walls? What if we lined the simulators up along one wall, created a comfortable lounge where people could hang out, and added something that's been asked for more than a few times… a bar?
Of course, Pixel Labs still needed its studio, conference room, and office space. But the more he walked around, the more he realized there might just be enough room for both businesses if we completely reimagined how the space was used.
For the past two months, Zach and Eric Knoblock have been working to turn that idea into reality, rethinking nearly every square foot to create a space that works better for both Pixel Labs and Grid Lounge.
And now, it’s happening.
By the end of October, Grid Lounge will have a new home!
This move is about so much more than a change of address. It’s an opportunity to create the experience we’ve envisioned for Grid Lounge from the very beginning.
We’re still Iowa’s only sim racing lounge. A place where you can get together with friends, go wheel-to-wheel on the track, enjoy some drinks, and head home with stories you’ll be talking about long after the checkered flag.
But with our new home comes new possibilities.

A comfortable space to relax, socialize, and enjoy the atmosphere, whether you’re racing or not.
Three years ago, we set out to bring something completely different to the Cedar Valley. Today, we’re so grateful for the thousands of drivers who’ve walked through our doors and the community that’s helped make Grid Lounge what it is.
We’re incredibly excited for this next chapter and what it means for the future of Grid Lounge. This new space will give us more opportunities to grow, bring people together, and continue building something truly unique for the Cedar Valley.
SAME COMMUNITY. BETTER EXPERIENCE.
