Since the beginning of our boxing event in 2016, Councilman Mark Carnevale was always there to support our show. On one occasion he refused payment and donated food from his restaurant for our USA Boxing officials and boxers after a weigh in. This year there was a permit fee for this event, well... Mark was the first one to jump in and pay for half the permit fee. The other half was covered by City Councilman Ernesto Gutierrez. Mark was pro police and several of our Police Officers Association meetings took place at his restaurant. Thanks for always being there Mark! May you rest in peace... you will be missed!
