Hi everyone, here. Bitter sweet announcement. I’m stepping away from my involvement with the Triathlon to focus on expanding the coaching platform, our expanding family ( grandchildren), bucket list endurance challenges and pursuing launching a robust audio visual content platform with my teammates. I want to thank Leslie And Abby Paul for the introduction to the event back 2013 which ignited the flame of triathlon within me. I want to thank all my neighbors, the Diamond Lake community, first responders, Diamond Lake Marina for an outstanding venue, all our sponsors, volunteers and every single participant who took part over the years. It’s been my honor to be part of this event. Currently, I am working with several organizations to pass the event over to, if you’re interested in being the community lead please reach out directly. I promise to be extremely diligent in this process to ensure that the quality continues to be what you’ve come to expect.

Hey friends, why do I support the Challenged Athletes Foundation watch this clip that Bob Babbitt texted me this morning with a nice note thanking me for the donation we made from the Diamond Lake Triathlon and Diamond Lake Sports. These athletes give me so much inspiration not just in sport but how they handle life. Bob, thank you for sharing these moments they fill my heart to let me know that there are still good people doing good work.

Hello friends, I’m one week away from the Subaru 24 hour Cycling Challenge. It’s a fund raising event for CASA (supporting children needing court appointed advocates) my page link is below and open for donations. This started off as a physical and mental challenge for me personally ( 300 mile goal in 24 hours) but after meeting so many CASA volunteers this year it’s become one of my favorite benefactors.

The best part of the DLT is delivering the charitable donations. Today we met at to donate $6000.00 to benefit children needing our support. Additionally, we sent (Bob Babbitt) $2000.00 yesterday for the to assist those needing our support through sport. Thank you to our sponsors, participants, volunteers and the Diamond Lake Marina for all your 2024 generosity! Our mission has always been about giving back, well done everyone! #
