This last weekend at Heartland 50 was beautiful. The weather was just about as perfect as it could be.
We started off the morning with a setting full moon that could still be seen higher than the horizon as the sun was cresting in the opposite direction.

The runners showed how amazing they are with 3 course records being broken.
25K male - Kyle Arbuckle - 2:14:38
25K female - Jana Robertson - 2:37:43
50K female - Lauren Slavens - 4:54:53

We are still looking for volunteers. Do you run? Did you know that when you volunteer you can build up credit towards future Heartland 50 races? I don’t think there’s a better way to help with the cost of a race than supporting others at a race. Come join us volunteering and then come run with us next year.
