Blackbox Foundation BlackBox Foundation is a nonprofit corporation in Casa Grande, Arizona approved by the Arizona Corporation Commission.

Creative performing arts have been an emerging development for several years in our rural community. Our mission is cultivate a sustainable and vital community theatre and creative arts scene. Our goal is to continue and improve the efforts most recently made by BlackBox Theatre by obtaining our 501c3 status which will allow funding through grants and local donors.

Due to circumstances beyond the control of BlackBox Foundation, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the upcoming production Mamma Mia!. This was not a choice we wanted to make, and we understand that many of you were excited to audition, participate, and support this show.

We are incredibly grateful for the enthusiasm, encouragement, and interest our community has shown. While we are disappointed that we will not be moving forward with Mamma Mia! at this time, our commitment to providing meaningful theatrical opportunities remains stronger than ever.

We are currently exploring alternative programming and a future production for the fall, and we look forward to sharing those opportunities with you soon.
