Blue Ridge Gathering is a Knoxville-based neo-traditional old-time trio that blends the soulful roots of Appalachian music with fresh energy and a modern twist. Grassy Creek is a hard driving Bluegrass group from Gatlinburg, TN, dedicated to keeping the tradition alive. With Brian on the mandolin, Julia on the Bass, David on the guitar, Ashton Murray on the banjo, and Malachi Ellenburg on the fiddle, the band delivers powerful instrumentation, tight harmonies and an authentic bluegrass sound.

Rhys Manis is a life-long artist who works in multiple mediums, both traditional and digital. After obtaining their Bachelors Degree in Studio Art, Rhys began working as a Graphic Designer full time. One of their creative outlets is costume making, in which they have placed multiple

Festival welcomes back James “Sparky” and Rhonda Rucker of Maryville!
Sparky and Rhonda Rucker perform throughout the U.S. as well as overseas, singing songs and telling stories from the American folk tradition.
Sparky Rucker has been performing over fifty years and is internationally recognized as a Leading folklorist, musician,
historian, storyteller, and author.
Rhonda Rucker is a musician, children's author, storyteller, and songwriter.
Sparky was recognized in 2025 with the Folklife Heritage Award by Governor Bill Lee and First Lady Maria Lee at the Tennessee Governor’s Arts Awards.
We are excited for them to join us at this year’s Louie Bluie Festival on September 26th at Cove Lake State Park.

Joining us this year is the band the Lonetones with our very own Sean McCullough and his wife Steph Gunnoe! The band artfully fuses urban and rural themes and musical styles. Steph and Sean have performed together since the year 2000 and have always surrounded themselves with talented musicians to help bring their songs to life. Currently the core of the band includes Vince Ilagan on bass and Jamie Cook on drums.
We are so excited for them to join us this September 26th at Cove Lake State Park!

Introducing another food truck! This time is it’s going to be the caffeine boost you need on festival day!
The Rush Coffee will be serving hot and iced coffee, espresso drinks, Italian sodas, dirty sodas, energy drink infusions, matcha & chai lattes, fruit smoothies, blended frappes and yummy assorted pastries! Surprise! They will have Pumpkin Spice lattes!! ☕️
