The Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the 38th Annual Carolina Beach Music Festival on Saturday, June 1, 2024! The Carolina Beach Music Festival brings with it a cherished history that began eight decades ago. Back in the 1940’s, just over the bridge from Carolina Beach, was a community known as Seabreeze, the rightful birthplace of “beach music” - the genesis of a sound that tr

ansformed the musical soundscape of the south. Whether you come to shag (dance) in the warm sands or just sit back and enjoy the live beach music, this event offers something for all ages. The festival takes place on the Carolina Beach Boardwalk and is the longest running beach music festival in the United States that is still held on a beach! This year we welcome live musical performances from The Main Event, Blackwater Band and Jim Quick & Coastline! Tickets go on sale this Friday morning, March 1st!

Kick off your at the 80's Boardwalk Bash with Hair Trigger on Friday evening, then wake up Saturday to a full day of with Band Of Oz, The Tams and Jim Quick & Coastline . Between sets, you'll find **g dancing, , special events, and celebrations happening all around town as businesses join the party. WWAY TV will be with us for all the fun - they love Carolina Beach!

When the festival wraps up, the weekend keeps rolling with sunshine and plenty of chances to soak up everything that makes special.

Not ready to head home on Sunday? Join the fun at Havana's Fresh Island Restaurant for their Belt It Out Brunch and close out your MusicFest weekend with great food, cold drinks, and one more round of singing along.
