Today we all got together for one last photo (very emotional day) in our home so here is…A Love Letter to My Home 💕
Dear Home,
For 27 years, you have held my life.
Within these walls, I raised four beautiful children. You heard their laughter echo down the hallways, felt their footsteps race across your floors, and quietly witnessed the countless ordinary moments that became everything. Birthdays, holidays, late nights, early mornings you were always there, steady and familiar.
You watched us grow up together. You saw scraped knees and school projects, tears and triumphs, family dinners and quiet cups of coffee when the house finally slept. You were never just walls and rooms you were safety, routine, and love.
And oh, my scraproom…
You became my creative heart. A place where stories were preserved, memories layered with paper and ink, where joy and healing lived side by side. So many Whimsy Weekends and crafty days. I will miss you deeply every little corner filled with inspiration and time spent doing what I love.
Leaving you is hard. Carlsbad has been my whole life, and you were the center of it. Saying goodbye feels like closing a chapter I never wanted to end. But I know this, everything that made you special wasn’t just you. It was us.
As we head to Fallbrook, I carry every memory you gave me. We will build new routines, new creative spaces, and new memories in our next home fingers crossed later this year. It will be lovely too because love comes with us.
Thank you for holding my family, my dreams, and my heart for all these years. You will always be home to me.
With endless gratitude and love,
❤️ Me
