When Dave and I launched the Market of Curiosities in 2014, we thought we would be hosting a one-day event to connect unique makers with the local community. However, we never imagined the market would become its own community, but when I woke up today, it was all I could think about. Over the past 12 years, and across 10 markets, a remarkable tapestry has been woven of volunteers, vendors, performers, attendees, friends, and family that has left Dave and me forever thankful and awestruck.

Witnessing everyone together yesterday brought us an indescribable feeling of joy and love. At a time when we can feel increasingly disconnected from each other, the Market of Curiosities has grown into a moment that connects us all to celebrate as creators, curators, appreciators, and supporters of the extraordinary, and, in doing so, we, as a collective, have transformed into not just an odd market for everyone, but a vibrant community too.

It's this MOC community building that is our biggest reward for producing the market year after year. We love you and are beyond grateful to each and every one of you who help make the first Saturday in December not just a market, but also a family reunion.
