Carlisle Events Carlisle Events is one of the world’s largest presenters of car entertainment! Chip Miller and Bill Miller, Jr.
(1299)

The Carlisle PA Fairgrounds are the home of Carlisle Events, one of the world's largest presenters of collector car and truck entertainment. (no relation) became friends through a mutual interest in cars of the 1950s. Together they began going to car shows and swap meets, where like-minded individuals would hunt for parts and accessories to restore their vehicles. In 1973, they founded Carlisle Events and now produce 10 annual events. Over the years, Carlisle Events has transformed the fairgrounds to suit the needs of car show participants and visitors. Continuous improvements include paved roads, a manicured landscape and more than 10 permanent buildings. At the same time, Carlisle Events has established consumer-friendly services such as on-site bank financing, notary and title service and a wide variety of dining choices. Hard to believe 25 years have passed since the September 11th terrorist attacks. Wes Wong, a retired FBI agent, and Twin Towers survivor, joined us at Corvettes at Carlisle this year to reflect on that day. Wong was one of the first responders on the scene in NYC. Take a moment to listen to his story and remember those we lost.

The numbers tell part of the story, but the atmosphere at Corvettes at Carlisle 2026 tells the rest. The annual celebration of America's Sports Car returned to the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds August 27-29 and, once again, Corvette enthusiasts answered the call in record-setting fashion.

The 2026 event welcomed 3,239 registered Fun Field Corvettes, establishing a new event record and surpassing the previous mark of 3,080 vehicles set in 2023. This total also makes this iteration of the show the 8th largest car specific event EVER held at Carlisle dating back to when car shows started in 1982!
