Michel’s Classic Wiffle Ball Tournament

What a day! Our 6th Annual Wiffle Ball Tournament, held on 11/8/25 at the Capaha Baseball Field, was an incredible success. We had 29 teams across both divisions and 275+ people in attendance throughout the all-day event. The energy, the competition, and the community spirit were something special.

Congratulations to our winners:
• Kids 7–11 Division: J-Town Nattys
• Kids 12–15 Division: The Dogs
• Adult Division: 5 Guys and 1 Cup

Sportsmanship and fellowship showed up in every inning, and you could feel the heart behind every team. With your support, we’ll continue to pitch in for the youth in our community and grow this tradition even stronger.

To every player, parent, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter we truly appreciate your participation and everything you poured into this event.

Brackets will be posted this afternoon.
Had two additional teams sign up this morning 🤭
All kids teams will start at 9am- Recommend you arrive 15-30 mins before.

Adult teams will start at 2pm BUT there will be a few teams to start second round of games around 245-3pm. This will be reflected on the brackets once posted.

For registration purposes- I ask the kids division to enter the right field area gate as there is an event using the main entrance in the morning as well.

Parking can be scarce so be aware of that in the morning and plan enough time. I would you encourage you to park in right field grassy area for morning session.

Michel’s Classic started their Sunday off with an oppurtunity to give back to a young man within the community.

Braden was unaware who we were and what our mission was when he walked into academy. I regret not capturing the reaction he gave when I explained who we were and what we were there to do… for him!

This kid thought us to remain humble through it all!

⚾️ Here is his story:

Braden is the youngest of four children. He enjoys all activities that a normal 13 year old does but his love and passion is sports. He is a wonderful athlete and strives to be the best he can be in whatever sport he is playing.
Two years ago his father went in for a routine hip replacement surgery and unfortunately suffered a stroke that caused him to lose movement in his right side. This has not been an easy road of recovery for their family as he is unable to work and do many activities he once did daily.
Braden has been using sporting equipment once used from his older siblings and the school. He remains beyond humble never asking for anything. He is fully deserving of his own catchers mitt that he can call his.

The past two years have been a struggle for their family. Regardless of all the trials and tribulations Braden still has a smile on his face. This glove means so much to him and he is beyond thankful for this foundation.
