The Show Me Showdown is proud to welcome Rick Bacon “The Arsonist” to the Show Me Center, August 1–2, 2026!

Based in Sonora, California, Rick Bacon is the owner of Rick Bacon’s Customs & Collision, a full-service collision, custom paint, and autobody shop he opened in 2014 after returning to his hometown. His journey in the auto body world spans more than 37 years, beginning with his first shop, The Body Shop for You, which he opened in 1996 before heading to Tennessee to pursue television.

Rick became a familiar face to car enthusiasts nationwide as a host on Spike TV’s MuscleCar, has appeared on Horsepower, Trucks!, and Search and Restore. He was also part of the “A” Team on Overhaulin’ with Chip Foose.

He’s not only a master builder, but also a respected educator in the industry—co-authoring the book Custom Car Painting on a Budget with Dennis Parks.

Known for his incredible custom paint work and passion for the craft, Rick Bacon “The Arsonist” has built a loyal following and continues to inspire car builders across the country. Now, he’s bringing that experience and energy here to Cape Girardeau.
