Congratulations to the Women's Podim! Overall Women's winner - bib 545, Karley Piers (Falmouth) with a time of 1:00:02. Just 3 minutes off her mother's course record (Sheri Piers, 2013, 57:25). Coming in 2nd was Cliodhna O'Malley (bib 511, Windham) 1:00:16.

3rd place went to Maya Barrett-Tzannes (Portland 1:00:44) and 4th was Emma Robidoux - Portland, 1:01:01

Women's Master Winner (40+) was Saeger Fischer (Portsmouth) with a time of 1:06:17

Official results indicate that we missed celebrating a few things yesterday!

1. The TOP FOUR Men went under the previously held course record (Judson Cake, 2010, 50:57). Amazing work by Alec Troxell (48:42), Aaron Willingham (49:06), Colin Cernik (49:27), Will Geoghegan (50:50), all of Portland.

2. Dan Vassallo set a new Men's Master's Record with 52:09 (previously held by Michael Gordon, 53:44, 2020). Vassallo, of Peabody, MA, was also the men's winner in 2013 + 2025.

3. Valor Track Club of Portland took home the team prize!

Troxell, Vassallo, and Valor will each receive $100!

From start to finish, it was a thrill of a day. Congratulations to our new course record holder Alec Troxell in the men’s race (bib 749 in pics below) and to 2nd generation women’s winner, Karley Piers (bib 545)! We had snow at the start, wind in the middle and sun at the finish! Huge shoutout to our runners, volunteers, sponsors, hosts, public safety, and community partners. We're SO excited to see you all tomorrow! Roads are clear and in good condition as of this afternoon and light flurries may be a part of your runner experience :) Packet pickup starts at 7:30 am, race starts at 9:45 am. No race day registration, and remember, deferrals ended yesterday.

Hi Everyone! A quick note on shirts - this year, it's long sleeve super soft cotton. Shirts were not able to be deferred, so if you purchased one with your registration and are not running the race, we (and Chandra's basement) would REALLY appreciate it if you (or a friend) could pick it up at Packet Pickup (Saturday 10-1 at Finish Strong Physical Therapy & Performance/ Marathon Sports Maine) or Sunday (7:30-9:30 at Race Day Registration). We've had some people indicate that can't work for them - and we will leave shirts with those peoples names on them March 8-April 1 at Marathon Sports (309 Marginal Way). Fill out the form in the runners guide (deployed to your inboxes last night) by tonight to request that.

After April 1, it's considered a donation, and we will sell any remaining shirts and donate that to our 2026 beneficiaries.
