Subject: 3 Very Important reminders for this week (April 6-11)

Just a few reminders this morning……..

1.) ALL summer validation tags must be ordered through the CEO by 5:00pm tomorrow (Tuesday April 7). All validation order forms are currently available at CEO or you may download them from the following link Randall County 4-H website @

-Randall County - Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service
-Scroll down the page until you see Livestock Shows/ Validation Form
-Click on the Validation tag forms you need

You must bring your forms and payment to CEO. Please make cks. payable to Randall County 4-H Livestock Fund and submit all payments to CEO!

2.) All 2026 RCJLS Checks will be distributed at the Stock Show Meeting held on (Tuesday April 21) @ 6:30pm at the Canyon High School Auditorium.

ABSOLUTELY NO CHECKS will be available before the 21st After that date you may pick up your check at CEO if you showed under 4-H, or if you showed under FFA check with your Advisor.

At this meeting we will also elect (3) new RCJLS Board Members. Members rolling off this year but can be re-elected include: Brandon Barton, David Reid and Kelby Cowley. The board has a total of (9) members. Please provide your new board nominations through the RCJLS Survey Link. Here is the survey link: https://forms.gle/vAJMoYSJXK9GeiCD6

All new board member nominations are ONLY ACCEPTED through the survey link. NO nominations will be except the night of the meeting!

Additionally, at this meeting we will distribute and explain ALL 2026 RCJLS Steak Out information and ticket sales. This year’s RCJLS Steak Out will be held on (Saturday October 17 @ the Amarillo Civic Center). Ticket sales will open May 1.

3.) Finally, if you feed your pig at the Digger Howard Barn this past fall and spring or currently feeding there now YOU and YOUR FAMILY are REQUIRED to be at Digger Howard Barn CLEAN UP DAY this coming (Saturday April 11). We will start at 8:30am and go until we get done!
Also, if you have any RC 4-H pig feeders or hanging feeders I need ALL of them brought up to upper barn!
