But as unfortunate as it is, it seems like the only meet that we have in canton is ending. Recently it has been extremely stressful trying to put our meet together and have received a ton of backlash over how we run it. There was just too much division between the scenes and it’s become not so fun anymore to have them.
However, we REALLY appreciate everyone that helped us grow our meet into what it was before a few weekends ago. Our first meet was just a total of three cars, and it was awesome to see it grow as much as it did. We’re glad we got to meet all of the people that we did as the meet grew and got to see regular faces show up. Thank you to everyone who followed the rules and connected with other enthusiasts.
If there are other meets there, we ARE NOT associated with it. I hope yall understand why this is happening.

It has been brought to our attention that there is still a lot of hatred amongst the different vehicle scenes, we as a supportive group of car enthusiasts love to talk to everyone about any build that we cross paths with. Whether it’s a truck, bike or car we enjoy talking about the time and effort you put into your build to make it your own. Every vehicle has its own story, that is why we started basik meet, the name has a back story we called it basik meet partly because we are a part of which is a group who invite all builds no matter what it is, but also because we wanted to have a very basic meet where you pull up, shut your vehicle off and hang out with different people and talk to them about their build it’s crazy how many stories you will hear. We have a goal of keeping a classy basic meet where enthusiasts of all groups can come together and enjoy each other’s builds, classic cars, new cars, classic trucks, new trucks and bikes of all sorts. If someone doesn’t like the meaning behind the meet they aren’t required to come there are plenty of meets that condone burnouts and takeovers. We also host our meet on a public park where children are present, and families join us at our meets to look at all the builds that are present so please come out and enjoy hangin with us, all we ask is that the hooning is kept on the track or open fields. We look forward to seeing all of you at the next meet👍👍

IMPORTANT! Our meets all together are going to be postponed until this virus thing slows down😭 We do not want to be held accountable in case someone does get said virus and it becomes a whole issue. Please understand we are doing this for everyone’s health and safety. The meets will continue at some point this year, just need the virus to slow down a little. Stay safe out there everyone.

Hey everyone! So due to the corona virus and countersteer having a small staff, the countersteer x basikmeet is going to be postponed until further notice. As much as everyone was looking forward to it, now is not the right time for it. HOWEVER, we will still be hosting our regular meets but PLEASE if you are sick in any way do not show up. Take care of yourself first, there will be plenty of other meets to show up to.
