Yesterday, I had to drop disappointing news on our race in May. Today, we get to drop exciting news. Mark your calendars, October 3. Under the lights, we will be hosting the first-ever arena cross race at the Abingdon Community Festival Grounds. We will have a Kelly MX Moto school training, then an open practice in the afternoon. This race will be the SX race for the Galdiator Series with Midwest Motocross Club Inc. More details and classes will follow in the coming months.

Unfortunately we had to pull the plug on the race at the end of may. Brad and I have been trying to figure out a way to pull it off but realized that we could not put on the quality show you riders deserve. With that been said we are full steam ahead for the fall race we can’t wait to show off the rebuilt scoring tower and sing up building the old sign up building will be a concession stand. Also the fall race we have big plans Friday- Saturday Kelly MX Moto school, doge ball tournament, whip contest, haunted trail to kick off the holloween season. You won’t want to miss this one. Also I am still working on some other events might even release the date after the meeting tonight with a festival committee stayed tuned.

Itsss race day LFG see y’all at Galesburg Motorcycle Club today, best of luck to everyone and especially ALL our Kelly MX Moto riders 🔥💪🏼🏁😎🤟🏼🇺🇸⚔️ (little cold out, come find US as we have new beanies and sweatshirts available for sale!!) who’s all going let’s hear it, FIRST person to find the googles with the Kellymxschool sticker across the lens and brings it to us, will WIN….. guess you will just have to play to see what you can win, let’s go!!

Rain on Thursday means a prime conditions on Saturday. Camping is free Friday night just be sure to pay your gate fees

Don't forget, this Saturday is the GP and the weather looks really good. On Friday, camping is free for Friday night. Trails will be closed as the crew will be laying out the course. All D17 GP classes will be available. Moto 1 has a dead engine in front of the gate. Moto 2 has a live engine, possibly off the gate, TBD. Don't forget this race is part of the Gladiator series for the cool awards at the end of season. If you ran the MX race but didn’t run the HS, you must run this race as your woods race to stay in the running for the helmet and sword. If you ran the HS but not the MX, you have to run this race and the next 2 MX races to get your 4 races.
Like u said have to race 4 races and 1 has to be a woods , 1 a MX , and 1 a sx out of the 4 .

MX track will be open ride after the GP and whole park will be open Sunday , probably have a bonfire Friday or Saturday night .
Gates open 7 , riders meeting 9:30 practice right after.
Gate 15$ and kids 12 and under free , race fee $35 for 50s and $40 others .

Spent the day at Midwest motorcross getting things ready for our race on May 31. This is a D17 points race. The track will be a new layout. The sign-up building will be the big building in the middle of the track. We're in the process of repairing it, and the scorers will be on the second floor. The finish line jump, which will be moved to the jump going towards the gate, and you will exit the track to the right of the gate. The track will be sick; you won’t want to miss this one.

Who would have guessed with the way things look today that our partner track Midwest Motocross Club Inc. had a successful race yesterday? Thank you to all the racers that came out and gambled with the unpredictable weather. Myself and all the club members thank you for helping keep this little diamond in the rough alive. The next 2 motocross races will be promoted by DK Promotions. I will be renting the track from Brad, so I know its early. I am looking for 6 to 7 flaggers for May 31st. This is a paid position and, yes, boring at times, but a very important position, so if you do it, please take it seriously. If you are racing and want to flag, I will cover your entry fee and make sure you are able to race your race and cover your position.
