THANK YOU, NATALIE!
We try to build a family with this team, and Natalie has been family from day one. We first met her because her grandmother was one of our favorite guests. Natalie started coming in with her people, and inquired about working here the first time she came in for dinner.
Natalie does not shy from hard work. She is first to the heavy lifting and first to learn something new. If you have ever come in for lunch, you have heard her talk a sandwich into something you had to order. As an owner, I loved standing back and listening to her romance our food like it was her own. She rode for this brand. She brought her friends. She helped grow our lunches. We grew up a little together — as a business and as friends.
Her photography is taking off. She is on the road for regional rodeos, and she has a wonderful chance to do work tied to her degree with family and friends. We could not be happier for her. Need photos? Call Natalie. She is killing it.
We will miss her behind the bar. She will always have a place at Native Son. We wish her the best on this next chapter, and we cannot wait to have her on the other side of the bar enjoying a night out. Oh… and Natalie… you’re still invited to the New Orleans trip next year. 😉

Guess who’s back?! Back again!
I’m down here in Round Top planning for another great Native Son popup at Market Hill this October 15th through October 31st!
All your favorite cocktails and menu items are returning, along with some fun events and surprises for y’all!
Our neighbor in Building 1 at Market Hill, Duo Modern Restaurant will be cranking out all their typical fair as well, so make sure we are your destination for dining during the Round Top Fall Antiques Week!

One of our featured classic cocktails is our take on a New Orleans-style Pimm’s Cup! Pimm’s No. 1, Fresh Lemon, & Lemon-Lime Soda!
Great warm weather patio pounder that drinks light and balanced. Scratches that “fruity but not too sweet” itch perfectly!
This one was inspired by our trip to the Napoleon House with the team last month! Goes great with any of our seafood, Grilled Redfish, Sweet Tea Chicken, or Pork Chop! But who are we to make rules?!
