Join us in the Plaza for a magical morning of stories, smiles, and summer fun at Storytime in the Plaza! Families are invited to gather in the beautiful downtown plaza every other Saturday at 10:00am for children’s books, interactive reading, and a chance for little ones to enjoy the outdoors with friends.

This Week: FARMERS! 🚜

Listen to a story about farming and A Tractor’s Day, then meet Farmer Randolph and see, touch, and explore a real tractor during a special touch-a-truck experience in the plaza. Apex Seed Company LLC will also bring their Seed Truck.

The first 40 kids will receive a FREE copy of the featured book to take home, thanks to our Storytime sponsor this week: Canton Elks Lodge 626.

A big thank you to the Canton Elks Lodge 626 for sponsoring StoryTime at The Plaza and helping make this new community event possible.

Join us Saturday, May 30 at 10am at The Plaza as local farmer Rye Randolph and Jason Gumbart from APEX Seed read a story about farm life. See a real farming tractor!

The first 40 children attending will receive a copy of the book to take home. We’re grateful for community partners like the Elks who help create opportunities for families to learn, connect and enjoy time together in downtown Canton.

Know Before You Go: ALMOST TAYLOR: Taylor Swift Tribute - Live at the Plaza

As we prepare for the Taylor Swift Tribute Concert in downtown Canton, please read the following important updates and come prepared.

The road on East Side Square between Jones Park and the Opera House Plaza will be closed starting at 4:00 PM tomorrow. Please plan accordingly when arriving and parking. This closure will help accommodate food trucks, pedestrian flow, and any overflow seating needs.

We appreciate your help planning ahead and look forward to seeing you there!

*This is our first year using the plaza in this way, and our first large-scale event in the space, so we appreciate your patience, flexibility, and kindness as we work to make it a great experience for everyone.
