I would like to thank everyone for supporting the North Canaan Ambulance Corps and the Schmitt Family at the sunsetfest. Such a beautiful day and such a success.
Thanks to the vendors and volunteers and thanks to Kirk and his staff at the North Canaan VFW.
When Aubrey passed we did not know how we were going to pay for her burial. The community, her friends and family stepped up. They started a go fund me and thats how I was able to make funeral arrangemnts without worry.
Thats community and that is what Aubreys wishes and our goal is now, to do the same for the people who are AlwayS there for us!

Join us for a wonderful cause on Saturday, October 12th from 2pm-6pm, at the VFW located in Canaan, CT. This year, we are raising money for the Canaan EMS. Become a vendor or shop from an array of skilled, local artisans. Enjoy live music and support a good cause in my sister, , Aubrey Nichole Schmitt’s name. She wanted to become more a part of our community and this is how we are honoring her request!

We hope this message finds you well. We wanted to inform you that there will not be a Sunset Fest in 2023. Although we won't be able to share a special hot day together this year, we can't wait to reunite and create new memories in the future.
