🇺🇸 Thank You, Campbellsville! 🇺🇸

What an incredible week we had celebrating the 50th Annual Campbellsville-Taylor County Fourth of July Celebration! We have loved seeing all the photos and memories that were made throughout the week. Our goal was to provide a full week of fun, family-friendly events for everyone to enjoy.

Unfortunately, our fireworks finale did not meet the expectations we had for this milestone celebration. The fireworks contractor arrived late in the afternoon unprepared to deliver the show as contracted. With only a few hours until showtime, we were faced with two options: cancel the fireworks or work alongside their crew by providing additional materials, equipment, tools, and manpower to make a 10:00 PM show possible. We chose to do everything we could to ensure our community still had a fireworks show.

While we are disappointed with how the fireworks portion of the evening turned out, the circumstances were beyond our control once the contractor arrived.

What won’t be overshadowed is the incredible success of the entire week. From the parade and concerts to the hot air balloons, family activities, tournaments, and so much more, this celebration was made possible by an amazing committee, dedicated volunteers, our city and county partners, generous sponsors, and a community that continues to show up year after year.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, and supported this year’s celebration. We can’t wait to begin planning for next year and will be sharing more photos and highlights from this unforgettable week over the coming weeks.

🇺🇸🎆 TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT! 🎆🇺🇸

The 50th Annual Campbellsville-Taylor County Fourth of July Celebration, presented by Taylor Regional Hospital, wraps up TONIGHT with the Manchester Tank & Equipment Party in the Park at Miller Park!

Here’s what’s happening:

🍔 5:00 PM – Taylor County Bank Food Court opens with a variety of delicious food and refreshments.

✈️ 6:30 PM – Smoke On Aviation Air Show, presented by Community Trust Bank, takes to the skies over Miller Park with an exciting aerial performance you won’t want to miss!

🎶 7:00 PM – Live music begins on the Commonwealth Building Products/Marvin Windows Main Stage with The Warren Project, followed by Midnight Rain.

🎇 10:00 PM – The celebration ends with one of Kentucky’s premier Fireworks Spectaculars, presented by Amazon, Buffalo Trace Distillery, and Visit Campbellsville/Taylor County, KY Tourism.

Bring your lawn chairs, gather your family and friends, and come celebrate America’s birthday with an evening full of great food, live entertainment, thrilling aviation, and an unforgettable fireworks show!

If you have a vendor booth downtown, we are expecting severe weather between 10:30 PM and 11:00 PM.

Please secure your booth, tents, merchandise, and any loose items and be prepared for changing weather conditions.

Important Fourth of July Parade Participant Safety Notice ☀️🌡️

As we prepare for Saturday's Fourth of July Parade, please be aware that extreme heat is expected. The safety of all parade participants is our top priority, and we encourage everyone to take precautions to stay safe.
Please remember to:

💧 Bring an individual cooler stocked with plenty of water.
🥤 Stay hydrated before, during, and after the parade.
👕 Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing to help stay cool.
🧴 Apply sunscreen and reapply as needed to protect yourself from the sun.

If at any point during the parade you begin to feel dizzy, weak, overheated, or unwell, please notify a parade volunteer immediately so we can assist you.

Let's work together to make this year's Fourth of July Parade a fun, safe, and memorable celebration for everyone. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
