🇺🇸 K Country Showdown Returns – Presented by Campbellsville University! 🇺🇸🎤

We’re excited to announce that the K-Country Showdown, presented by Campbellsville University, will return to the Miller Park Amphitheater in Campbellsville on Thursday, July 2nd at 7:00 PM!

We are now accepting contestant entries, and this year we’re expanding opportunities with two age categories:
🎶 Kids: Ages 8–15
🎶 Adults: Ages 16 & up
(Limited to 8 contestants per category)

📅 Entry Deadline: Friday, June 5th at 3:00 PM (ET)
💵 Entry Fee: $30 (non-refundable)

🏆 Prizes:

$300 cash prize for 1st place (Kids)

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Mike Teis, who passed peacefully at 3:34 this morning.

Mike was a familiar and beloved face at our Hot Air Balloon Glow each year. His passion for ballooning and the joy he brought to everyone around him made a lasting impact on our community. We were truly grateful to know him and honored to have him be part of our event year after year.

Mike had already committed to attending this year’s event, and while we will deeply miss seeing him here, we plan to do something special to honor his memory. More importantly, we will do what Mike loved most — put balloons in the sky in his honor. 🎈

Please keep Mike’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Though he may not be with us in person this year, his spirit will forever be part of our Hot Air Balloon Glow and remembered each time the balloons rise into the sky.

Rest easy, Mike.
