We've made the decision to cancel our 2021 event.

With uncertainty as to summer capacities for events in Maine, as well as the time it takes our small, dedicated group of volunteers to make this event happen, we feel this is the best decision for us at this time.

Hold the date for 2022 and watch for an early registration launch this fall: Sunday, July 17, 2022.

Thanks to all of you!

Thanks, all, for the inquiries on the 2021 event. We're monitoring Governor Mills' guidelines, outdoor gathering limits, & the vaccine's progress here in Maine. We hope to make an announcement by April 1, 2021, on the status of our ride in July.

Out of an abundance of caution and per our Governor's order restricting gatherings in July, and because our local partners (Pen Bay Y & Camden Snow Bowl) feel this is the socially responsible path to take, we've made the difficult decision to cancel this year's July 19 event.

We're announcing July 18, 2021, for next year's event! Look for registration for 2021 to open in the fall.

We're maintaining route info, cue sheets, & GPS downloads on our website for anyone to utilize unofficially this summer.

2019 registrants will receive a separate email for options.

All proceeds from this event are divided amongst the Pen Bay YMCA and Camden Snow Bowl youth programs, and the Bicycle Coalition of Maine. We'll still welcome your financial support for all these nonprofits on our website, or inquire right here on Facebook.

Look for additional info as the summer progresses.

We're grateful to everyone for supporting us in this amazing, local event.

Hey, everyone! We'll have an announcement on our plans for the 2020 ride this Tuesday, May 5, 2020. We're reviewing Governor Mills' order and will describe our alternative options at that time. Thank you!

The Rockland Police Department in partnership with the Bicycle Coalition of Maine is providing some accessories to support the Bike/Walk Brightly Campaign. This campaign is aimed at making low light and nighttime activities safer by being seen with reflectors or lights. So if your passion is walking, running, biking etc. Especially this time of year and you're concerned about not being seen; we can assist you.
We have 50 slap wrist/ankle bracelets and a handful of headlight/taillight sets. These are available at the Rockland Police Department.
We want want everyone to be safe and have fun while enjoying your favorite activities year round. Also, please wear bright colored clothing and obey all bicycle, pedestrian and motor vehicle laws.
Remember, let's watch out for each other!
