Over ten days in December, 1995, the Hubble telescope focused its eye on a spot of darkness no greater than a sand grain. It collected solitary photons that had been hurtling through space for billions of years. The composite image revealed an abundance of beauty and insight hidden in the darkness. Our goal at Deep Field Sounds is to foster a scene of passionate engagement with music on the fringe

, music hidden in the darkness. We hold monthly receiving sessions in Boston, aimed at exposing willing participants to sonic architecture purveyed by artists from all around the globe.
