Battle of CamRock

Battle of CamRock WORS Battle of CamRock will be held on Sunday June 1st, 2025. WORS Battle of CamRock is typically the first weekend in June or last weekend in May.

Check the WORS schedule for exact time and date. Capital Off-Road Pathfinders has worked for years to build CamRock Park into one of the hidden gems of mountain biking in Wisconsin. CORP is a volunteer organization that builds and maintains the majority of the off-road cycling trails in Dane County. We are working diligently to make the Battle of CamRock a race that you will look forward to every

year. The trail system at CamRock is a blend of wide and fast flowing single-track that runs through open fields of prairie grass, wooded single-track with bermed turns, and more technical single-track with a touch of roots and rocks, and some machine built flow for more fun! The Battle of CamRock course contains some great downhill sections that will have you begging for another lap. From Citizen to Elite, all courses contain fun single-track, numerous feed zones, and finish with a grass double-track climb before sprinting to the finish.

We hope that you all have an awesome day tomorrow - and for those that haven't signed up yet you can still register the day of the event! The weather looks perfect and the course is in tip-top shape - don't miss out!!

While a ton of volunteers help make race day special for so many, these 3 hardworking people are the heart and soul of CORP Trail's volunteer contribution to the Battle of CamRock - Bruce Andre (right - Race Director), Dave Reece (Center - Emeritus Race Director) and Amberly Wilson (Left-Volunteer Coordinator). If you see them tomorrow be sure to give them a high five!

Weather is AWESOME!! Let's GOOOOOOOO!!!!

Hey new and first-time racers! Want to make sure you have a blast at the Battle of CamRock this Saturday?

Join CORP Trails at 3 PM Saturday for a special guided pre-ride just for citizen and "try-it-out" racers. We'll meet at the start area and go over everything you need to know, including:

Getting a clean start when the race begins
Tips for fun and safe passing (and being passed!)
How to adjust your riding specifically for race day

It's the perfect way to get (more) comfortable and confident before the big event!

The amazing Battle of CamRock race is just around the corner now. Let's get excited!!! We're running short on several of the volunteer roles needed to run a fun race. Please help us make this year's race as good as it can be by signing up for a shift. No experience necessary!!

What are the trails going to be like tomorrow for the Battle of CamRock? While there are no guarantees, but this is not our first rodeo. This is the 14th year of the Battle, and I would bet we have battled rain for about 10 of them. These trails dry very quickly, and the rain is forecast to stop around 3:30. Then dry. And we have an awesome crew of folks that will head out to get the trails in shape. We know the places that can be issues and work on them. I can't tell you the number of times we have had a rainy Saturday and then perfect conditions on race day, and yet I have had people tell me they didn't race because they thought it was going to be wet. So yes we are getting rain and we had to close pre-ride to protect the trails. But it is way too early to be worried. Lets gooooooo!

All reports are that the trail is riding spectacular. Bikes I saw today didn't have a speck of mud or dust on them! Dare I say perfect dirt, and perfectly manicured trails!
