East-Central Ohio is home to many talented young artists, and we are fortunate that Muskingum University is featuring a number of schools this month in the Louis O. Palmer Gallery. Students from East Muskingum, Indian Valley, River View, West Muskingum, and Zanesville City are featured in this wonderful exhibit as well as selections from international artists.

The exhibit will be open special hours Sunday October 18 from 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. for those who would like to view the work. The Palmer Gallery is open Monday - Thursday from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. or by appointment.

For those not familiar with the Muskingum campus, the Palmer Gallery is the brick building to the right of Walter Hall and behind Paul Hall.

It's never too early to start planning the 2027 Salt Fork Arts and Crafts Festival! We would love to add some volunteers to our merry crew. The festival is a year-round event, and there are a lot of different ways to get involved. An hour or two a month can make a big impact on this community tradition. Calling all of our little artists! We’ll have two fun ways for kids to get creative at this year’s Cambridge Main Street Fall Festival!

🚌 CRAFTY ART BUS
Climb aboard the Crafty Art Bus and let those creative ideas take over! We’re excited to bring this fun, hands-on art experience to Downtown Cambridge during Fall Festival while supplies last.

🎃 FREE PUMPKIN PAINTING
Pick a pumpkin and turn it into your very own masterpiece! Pumpkin painting will be FREE for kids, with one pumpkin per child while supplies last.

And that’s just part of the family fun happening throughout the day!
