With our 10th Theater, Dance & Media class now officially graduates, and with the school year having come to a close, our sincerest thanks to everyone who helped make this 10 Years of TDM celebration possible. Thank you to our alumni, faculty, and staff—past and present!—who answered our community questionnaire and shared their TDM memories, reflections, hopes, and dreams with us in anticipation of this year-long commemoration of the program's first decade. These 10 years of TDM could not have been what they were without you, and the same is true for this celebration of it! We hope you enjoyed the trip down memory lane and the festivities inspired by it, and we hope you know just how much we appreciate you all. We got the chance to meet their loved ones at the TDM Family Reception yesterday. It's always such a delight to come together and honor our outgoing class with their families. Our final senior in our is Lulu Troyer. Congratulations Lulu! Thank you for brightening our spaces with your warm, enthusiastic presence and tremendous fashion sense. You are a free spirit that welcomes all facets of the arts; you adhere to the multi-hyphenate identity in the truest sense. You’re a skillful writer, but you also have such a great variety of interests, ranging from music to poetry to Armenian language and culture. It has been a pleasure to witness you performing in both a TDM theater production and a TDM dance production—shout out to seeing you tapping in Loopholes! In addition to your onstage talents, you are also a committed scholar who has taken advantage of the opportunities TDM has to offer, even while you have been balancing your schoolwork with many other commitments at Harvard. Our next senior in our is Inseo Yeo. Congratulations Inseo! We have been genuinely amazed at your profound generosity and humility as an artist and a community member. Not only are you brilliant and immensely talented, but you also always lead with consideration for the people around you. As you continue your artistic journey beyond Harvard, we know that you will be a collaborator who will enrich every room you enter. We would be remiss if we didn’t mention your gorgeous acting in TDM’s shows over the past few years. What a delight to see you performing such different characters in Cells and Moose Tracks! Our next senior in our is Eliza Zangerl. Congratulations Eliza! You are an artist with big ideas and the knowledge to back them up. It’s so evident that you love theater with your very soul, and that passion allows you to remain undeterred by mishaps or shenanigans! We’ve been so delighted to witness you developing your talents and deepening your investment in your creative pursuits during your time at Harvard. We’ve seen you demonstrate a wide variety of artistic skills—playwriting, directing, acting, singing, dancing—and you’ve thrown yourself into each different project you’ve taken on with such admirable gusto. Our next senior in our is Crystal Manyloun. Congratulations Crystal! We have just one question, Crystal: what can’t you do? During your time in TDM, we’ve seen your myriad of talents on display. From acting, to dancing, to playing instruments, to singing, to choreographing, to computer science-ing… You can do it all, and you do it with such good-natured enthusiasm. You don’t shy away from putting in the work necessary to make things happen. Over this past year, we’ve watched you remain dedicated and positive in completing all of TDM's concentration requirements, even the tedious ones! You see opportunity in everything; we were so impressed by you developing and producing a project based on a conversation you had in your Junior Tutorial. Count TDM as some of the members of your large fan club! We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Our next senior in our is Claire Liu. Congratulations Claire! At every turn, you have proven yourself to be an artistic collaborator of the highest caliber. You are incredibly organized and conscientious, which allows you to make your ambitious visions a reality. Even while you are a star in your own artistry and scholarship, you also embody grace and humility when helping other people make their projects happen; you are a team player anybody would be lucky to work with. We have truly appreciated how much you have helped TDM over the years. Whenever we asked you talk to prospective students or offer any feedback, you always came through, and you brought your signature maturity as a thinker and an artist to the table. This week, we’re excited to honor the members of the TDM Class of 2026. Though they may be leaving their undergraduate careers behind, we’re so proud to have had them as part of the TDM community during their time at Harvard.

Our first senior in our is Brennis Carillo. Congratulations Brennis! You have shown such an enthusiasm for broadening your horizons and taking advantage of everything Harvard has offered during your time here. We have deeply admired your intentionality in seeking out values-aligned, community-based opportunities for making and facilitating art. It’s a special thing to encounter a student who has such a clear vision of the path she’s charting through her academic career. You also have always remained so even-keeled, even while juggling many commitments both on- and off-stage! Your grace under pressure and appreciative spirit has made you such a joy to work with over the years. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors!

To properly ring out this "10 Years of TDM" milestone celebration, we gladly cede the stage to the ones who, in one word or several, can best sum up what TDM is, means, and represents: our community. What this program means to our students, alumni, faculty, and staff—the people who have made and continue to make TDM possible—is the real testimony to the past decade, and what this concentration is and can be in the eyes of this community is our roadmap for the future. Here’s to remaining true to us and our very best in TDM as ​we keep growing, learning, dancing, playing, discovering, and creating in all the years to come!

No semester would be complete without our TDM brunch! Faculty, staff, and students gathered together in the TDM offices to celebrate the end of another wonderful year. We honored our senior concentrators and secondaries, raised a glass to all the incredible work that has happened this spring, and enjoyed a delicious spread of Brazilian food from Oasis. And, of course, we had a special doggy visitor join us as well!
