The installation has begun for the 2026 Cambridge Ice and Oyster Festival. The team has started work installing the new Patriotic Ice Maze.

The festival is all about ice sculptures, live music, oysters, s'mores, fire pits, ice bars, and a lot of family fun.

Friday, January 16th 5-8 pm and Saturday, January 17th 11 am-7pm in Downtown Cambridge and at the Winter Village at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay.

We are just 48 hours from the start of the 2026 Cambridge Ice and Oyster Fest: Celebrating America's 250th.

Downtown Cambridge is the place to be Friday, January 16th (5 - 8 pm) and Saturday, January 17th (11 am - 7 pm) to see and interact with amazing ice sculptures, eat oysters, listen to live music, toast a s'mores by our fire pits, get a drink from our ice bars, and more. You can then jump on the shuttle and head to the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay to skate on the syntenic ice rink hosted by Blackwater Adventures.

This year is all about Celebrating America's 250th and the new Patriotic Ice Maze is going to do that in a big way.

Come to the festival for the oysters, live music, smore's, and the ice bars but the most fun will had be seeing and interacting with amazing ice sculptures created by IceLab and sponsored by local businesses.

Yacht Maintenance Company is sponsoring one of the Ice Bars and this year's theme is St John Tough 8 Mile. C & K Lord is bringing back their very poplar Paintball Target to allow you test your aim. Horn Point Laboratory will once again be showing off a large ice oyster. Layton's Chance Vineyard & Winery wine bottle with vines shows off skills of the ice sculptures. The Co****le Boards are interactive sculptures that have been popular since year 1 and are sponsored by Glenn P. Ruark, Inc. Building Contractor and Best Buy Supply. GKD Metal Fabrics is sponsoring a new sculpture honoring the 250th Celebration . IceLab is sponsoring the second Ice Bar that is Honoring Andrea and Brent, members of the team that started the Cambridge Ice and Oyster Festival.

While in town spending time at the Ice and Oyster Festival be sure to find the sculptures sponsored by downtown business and then visit the business.

Thomas's Fine Jewelry is sponsoring one the most photographed sculptures at the event, the Diamond Ring Photo Frame. Vintage 414 is sponsoring a Champaign Bottle and will be serving goodies behind the store near the Ice Maze. Simmons Center Market is having a Grill carved out of ice. For All Seasons has Joy from the movie Inside Out cast in ice. Benson and Mangold is presenting a frozen for sale yard sign. RAR Brewing has a new version of a Frozen Chessie for this year.

Almost time for the 2026 Cambridge Ice and Oyster Festival (January 16 & 17). We are very excited about the new Patriotic Ice Maze Celebrating America's 250th and the dozens of other amazing sculptures but also for all the oysters that will be consumed at the event.

There will be wild caught oysters from Dorchester Seafood Heritage Association and farm grown oysters in a verity of preparations from Choptank Terrapin Oyster Co, Madhouse Oysters, Farm Creek Oysters, and Madison Bay Oysters (they are also bringing their Hooked on Seafood truck).

In addition to our Ice Bars you will be able to get drinks from the Travelin' Tom's Coffee and Kona Ice Trucks.

A huge thank you to the City of Cambridge and Dorchester County - I Love Dorchester Heritage & Tourism for all of their support in making the Ice and Oyster Festival possible.
