Working cattle safely and effectively is a laborious task that takes experience, confidence, and quick reflexes. Historically this work is reserved for men but with women owning 50% of the farmland in the US it is not uncommon to see women these days taking the reins.
Here at the Bar W Ranch, the land sits in our mothers name and is run collaboratively as a family effort.
