In Memory of Rose Beck
1947–2026
“Calistoga’s Volunteer”
Brannan Center joins our community in mourning the loss of beloved friend, volunteer, and longtime Calistoga resident Rose Beck.
Born at St. Helena Hospital and raised in Calistoga, Rose spent nearly her entire life in the community she loved and served so faithfully. When she first learned about the vision for Brannan Center several years ago, she immediately knew she wanted to be involved and proudly became an Ambassador for the project.
“In high school, I attended dances at the Green Church,” Rose shared last year. “I hated to see the building close, and I was so happy when many of my longtime friends dreamed up Brannan Center because I knew we needed it.”
Rose became one of our most dedicated volunteers, most often serving as an usher and greeting guests with the warmth and kindness that so many came to know and appreciate. She helped create the welcoming spirit that defines Brannan Center today.
Her service to others extended far beyond our walls. Rose generously gave her time and energy to Celebrate Napa Valley, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, the Junior-Senior High School Alumni Association, the Sharpsteen Museum, and countless other community efforts over the years.
We are deeply grateful that Rose was part of the Brannan Center family. Like so many throughout Calistoga, we will miss her warmth, optimistic spirit, generous heart, and unwavering commitment to community.
