The GEM Theatre is a nonprofit historic theatre in beautiful downtown Calhoun, Georgia featuring a variety of performances, concerts, movies, and community events The GEM re-opened in 2011 and in addition to hosting concerts, plays, traveling productions and meetings, the GEM is the community’s theatre, available to schools, organizations, businesses and individuals at affordable rates.

We hope you enjoy the color displays on the exterior of the marquee. As we celebrate Dolly Parton with the movie Steel Magnolias on Friday, Sept 25th, we changed the color to pink. This will roll us into October and the start of breast cancer awareness month.
