Senior Spotlight 2026: Introducing our Canyon County Fair Seniors, sponsored by CWI!

Meet Adyson Maddock, a graduate of Homedale High School. This fall, Maddock plans to attend the College of Western Idaho to study Agricultural Business while continuing to raise her Black Angus herd, work part-time, and sell club calves.

Maddock has been involved in 4-H since 2018 and is excited to participate in her first and only Canyon County Fair during her senior year. Throughout high school, she was active in Beef Masters 4-H Club, Final Drive 4-H Club, volleyball, basketball, and a traveling club basketball team that competed in tournaments in Las Vegas and Chicago. She also served as a volunteer board member for the Clark County Junior Fair Board Association and became involved in Homedale FFA during her senior year.

In addition, Maddock is a member of the Idaho Junior Angus Association, National Junior Angus Association, and American Junior Simmental Association. Her favorite Canyon County Fair memory is the memories she looks forward to making this year during her final season in 4-H.

Their courage and dedication have given us the freedoms we enjoy every day, and today we reflect with gratitude and respect. As we gather with family, friends, and community, we encourage everyone to take a moment to remember those who served and gave all.

The Canyon County Fair Office is closed on Monday, May 25. Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, May 26.

We’re currently seeking dedicated extracurricular groups interested in partnering on a rewarding fundraising opportunity!

This is a great way for your team, club, or organization to raise funds for travel, equipment, competitions, or special projects while building teamwork and community involvement. To ensure the success of this opportunity, participants must meet a couple of important requirements:

All workers must be 18 years of age or older, and
Participants should be available for longer shifts across multiple consecutive days for maximum impact.

This opportunity is ideal for school groups, church groups, or youth sports groups with volunteers who are dependable, hardworking, and ready to commit to a structured schedule in exchange for meaningful fundraising results.
