1957 Chevy Cameo 'Gran Sport' custom pickup
Cameo pickup blended with a '65 Buick Riviera Gran Sport results in a unique take for this iconic classic truck.
Features from the Riv includes the clamshell headlights, cut down front bumper, and fabricated stainless grille ( flattened more for the truck's body, same for the bumper), cut down and narrowed rear bumper, custom side strakes resembles the Riv rocker panel styling.
The interior has the Riviera steering wheel, wood trim on the doors and console, which also comes from the Riv, and the bucket seats.
The hood is from the '55 as it is minus the two 'bumps'; under it is the Nailhead 425 GS engine with dual quads and those cool finned valve covers with the 'Buick' logo.
Wheels are upsized (18" front, 20" rear) classic Riviera Road Wheel influenced, fully chromed, and mounted on Redlines.
Other features are the one-piece door glass, nosed hood, and smooth tailgate. The truck bed is the wider Fleetside unit, with modified Cameo outer skins (shaved the taillights).
The concept popped into my head and I immediately had to get it down on paper; guaranteed you won't find something like this at the next truck meet! 😎
