Calabash Oktoberfest

10/02/2026

As the BIG Oktoberfest in Munich is coming to its conclusion this weekend we are working on our MINI Oktoberfest in Calabash.
It's time to get out your Dirndls and Lederhosen or in lack thereof your comfortable clothes to make sure they still fit.

What is a Dirndl?
A "Dirndl" used to be an Alpine peasant costume but in recent years has become a fashion statement especially in the state of Bavaria.
It is worn to the famous Oktoberfest in Munich and other festivals in Bavaria (and the US). In every day life a woman wearing a "Dirndl" is always dressed in style.
