Middle Georgia Inflatables LLC will be at the Byron BBQ Fest!

The kids' zone is packed with fun this year! We will have pay-to-play inflatable axe throwing for all ages (even the adults), the 20' vertical rush, and a FORTY-FOOT obstacle course at the Byron BBQ Fest September 18th and 19th. Once you purchase an armband, you get a full day of play.

Details for other kids' activities, live music, vendors, taste plates, and more will continue to be shared on our page.

We are very thankful to Massee Lane Gardens for their support of the Byron BBQ Fest ❤

Home of the American Camellia Society headquarters, this botanical garden is one of the world's finest collections of camellias. Walk the winding brick paths over the nine-acre area full of natural beauty. Groups of 10 or more can reserve a guided tour. Camellias bloom from October to April, but don't miss the Festival of Camellias in February during peak camellia season!

It’s almost time to eat the competition! 😋

Taste Plate Tickets for the 2026 Byron BBQ Fest are still available. This is part of a BLIND people's choice competition, so you get to vote for your favorite BBQ.

Plate includes:
☑️ At least 1 lb of fresh pulled pork (some from each team)
☑️ 2 slices of white bread
☑️ 1 vote for your favorite BBQ

How it works:
1⃣ Take your ticket to the Taste Plate Table located near Pavilion #3 to the left of the big playground on Saturday between 12:30pm and 2:30pm
2⃣ Eat yummy BBQ and decide who is the best
3⃣ Vote for your favorite sample at the Tour Byron tent located near Pavilion #3 by Saturday at 3:30pm
4⃣ See who wins on Saturday, September 19th, approximately 4pm at the stage

🎟 Tickets will also be sold at the Tour Byron tent during the festival, while supplies last, until Saturday, Sept. 19th at 2pm.

💲Plates cost $20, and profits go to the Battle of Byron! We now take cash and card. No online payments.

The 2026 Byron BBQ Fest will have a petting zoo provided by Half Pint Haven !

Half Pint Haven is a family farm located in Fort Valley. You'll get to play with baby goats, chickens, and other adorable animals. 😍 Have questions about the furry friends? They'll be there to answer any questions you have!

NOTE: To keep the animals safe and happy, hours are limited.

Sign up cost: $200 plus optional $50 for Brunswick Stew

Payouts:
1st: $1000 | 2nd: $700 | 3rd: $500 for each meat category (chicken, pulled pork, ribs)
People’s Choice Winner: $100
Brunswick Stew: 50% of stew entries
