Dear Family,

It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the cancellation of this year's edition of Lost But Found. As the Summer draws to a close, COVID-19 infections are only steadily climbing around the globe. Now, with the new Delta variant wrecking havoc in Oklahoma and surrounding states - infecting both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals alike - it has become apparent to us that it would not be in the best interest of our valued guests nor our local communities to jeopardize everyone's safety in continuing to host a gathering of this size amidst the pandemic, even with our extensive safety protocols and existing COVID-19 precautions.

At the moment, several of our headliners and workshop instructors traveling from overseas are likely not be able to attend anymore either, if travel restrictions continue - let alone if they become stricter. Additionally, with the emergence of new nationwide mandates and stricter guidelines, we would likely be forced to either require each of our guests to be fully-vaccinated or masked at all times, in addition to significantly down-sizing the scale of this year's event - at the cost of our vision.

We understand that this is not the desired announcement and are just as heartbroken as you, as each of our team members has poured in countless of hours and love into this project, and we were beyond excited to be dancing underneath the stars with all of you. Moreover, our team of directors had collectively invested nearly $30,000 USD of their personal savings, in order to help make this gathering a reality.

It is therefore that both our team and its investors have had to make the extraordinarily difficult decision to cancel this year's gathering. As part of our commitment to all of our guests, all current ticket-holders will automatically be receiving a refund for their existing wristband purchases and add-on passes. These ticket purchases will be refunded back to their original payment method, based on the order in which they were processed (beginning with Super Early Bird ticket-holders).

Lost But Found is moving to a brand new home 🏑 ✨

We are relocating to Big Creek Events, a much larger and more scenic venue located near Asher, OK - about an hour outside of Oklahoma City. This new venue is better suited than our previous location to accommodate the festival experiences we were developing, and features nearly 1,300 acres of sprawling, rolling hills, lush grasslands, and gorgeous forests - dotted with numerous rivers, creeks, and ponds.

πŸŒ²πŸ’š

We're beyond excited to share this space with you, and for all the amenities, production opportunities, and the huge potential for future growth that it offers us!

Swipe right to see some photos of the venue. We'll be releasing a lot more footage very soon, to give you an even better feel for it. So stay tuned!! πŸ“‘πŸŒŸ

πŸ“£β€ΌοΈ

After closely monitoring the progress of the ongoing global pandemic - and following much discussion and careful consideration by our team - we have decided it is in the best interest of the health and safety of all of our guests and participants to postpone our sacred gathering to the previously-announced backup dates of October 14-18, 2021.

We are confident that vaccines will have been widely distributed and made readily-available to anyone in need by then! Additionally, we have decided to further limit the amount of tickets sold to no more than 3,000 maximum. This would help us ensure the safest and most enjoyable experience for all of our guests.

While we realize many of you, like all of us, are disappointed to not be able to gather in April, we are really looking forward to our time spent together in the Fall, and are thrilled to share all the incredible things we have in store! We're stoked to take these next couple of months to curate an absolutely magical experience for all of you!!

P.S. As some artists are unable to attend the new dates, we will be releasing an updated version of our Phase 1 lineup in the next few days - so stay tuned!

➽ Our souls are reflections of the ever-glowing sun on dewdrops. While this divine play has led us to believe that the soul inherits the body that we are all separate from one another, in Truth, we are all One. All of reality is just an appearance of the Divine like the waves and crests forming on an infinite ocean of awareness, before dissolving back into it again. All that exists is that formless One

𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐄
➽ We are strong, emotional beings with immense power behind our ability to provide and disrupt Peace. Recognizing this, we strive to maintain it at all times

π‹πŽπ•π„
➽ Love profoundly connects each and every one of us across this world, and the next one. We encourage an amplification of ultimate Love. The more Love we spread, the more Love there is to give

𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓
➽ Respect is so basic to human well-being that in its absence, people don’t thrive. We all are sharing this planet, let alone these campgrounds, so let's help each other thrive!

π’π”π’π“π€πˆππ€ππˆπ‹πˆπ“π˜
➽ The impact we wish to create is in the hearts, minds, and souls of individuals attending this festival. We would have no community to embrace ourselves if not for the beautiful pieces of land we are so lucky to place our festival on. Our footprints on the festival grounds, and on our world as a whole, will have effects on the Earth for generations to come

𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅-π„π—ππ‘π„π’π’πˆπŽπ
➽ Without the constant and resilient efforts of artists and performers, we would not have the festivals we love and cherish so much. As a community of creative and innovative people, it is important now more than ever to not only engage in meaningful self expression, but to support our peers in doing so as well

➽ We take extreme caution when it comes to the safety and well being of our staff and attendees. Our team actively supports and encourages science-based drug education and harm reduction practices and offer valuables services

Leaving no trace is one of our festival's most valued pillars. Please help us return next year by keeping our new home and its surrounding areas clean. To "leave no trace" is not just about being responsible festival-goers and keeping our little corner of paradise clean. It is much more than just that:

π™Έπš'𝚜 πš˜πšžπš› πšŽπšπš‘πš’πšŒ πšŠπš‹πš˜πšžπš πšπš‘πšŽ πš™πš•πšŠπš—πšŽπš 𝚊𝚜 𝚊 πš πš‘πš˜πš•πšŽ.

To help you figure out how to be a conscious eco-warrior, check out some of these useful tips and guidelines on how to leave no trace at Lost But Found, and beyond. Please read them carefully! Thank you for your efforts and your interest in protecting the environment!

π—žπ—˜π—¬ π—šπ—¨π—œπ——π—˜π—Ÿπ—œπ—‘π—˜π—¦

➽ The simplest way to reduce waste is to plan ahead and only pack what you will really need

➽ Dispose of all waste properly in their designated receptacles

➽ Pack out what you packed in

➽ Be cautious with campfires, never leave them unattended, and minimize their impacts

➽ Don't disturb nature or remove any wild animals. Please leave whatever you find, and be considerate of your surroundings

π—₯π—˜π——π—¨π—–π—œπ—‘π—š π—ͺπ—”π—¦π—§π—˜

➽ Remove wrappers from food packaging ahead of time at home to lessen the amount of needless trash at the festival

➽ Make sure you only bring what you will eat! Coordinate with your campmates to minimize food waste as well. If you bring or make too much food, invite your neighbors to eat with you! Be sure you restock on ice (or bring dry ice) to keep all of your refrigerated and frozen food items edible as long as possible. Another good suggestion would be to bring some extra cash on-hand and grabbing a delicious meal or two from one of our many tasty local food vendors. They would absolutely love your support!

π——π—œπ—¦π—£π—’π—¦π—œπ—‘π—š 𝗒𝗙 π—ͺπ—”π—¦π—§π—˜

➽ Plan on packing out all of your trash from your campsite, so be sure to bring plenty of trash bags!

➽ Pay attention to MOOP! As you walk to and from your campsite, keep an eye out for MOOP (Matter Out Of Place) - such as empty cans and other waste, and please pick some up if you find it and dispose of it properly. Thank you for helping us keep our new home clean!

➽ Please remember to wash all of your dishes at least 200 feet away from all bodies of water and to only make use of biodegradable soap

It is each one of us' individual duty to keep our planet free from pollution. One of the simplest methods for doing this is to repurpose or recycle all waste. Every item can be recycled or treated and reused in some way. Materials can be smelted together to create entirely new ones from scratch. Even compost can be used to make valuable fertilizer. To help make all of this possible, we provide various distinctively-marked waste bins throughout the festival grounds. Please make use of these and help us keep our new home clean, so that we may return again next year!

The four types of waste that are generated at our festival (before, during, and after) are:

➽ Regular waste: Things that can't be valued and go to landfill
➽ Recyclable waste: Plastic, paper, metal, glass
➽ Compostable waste: Leftover food from kitchens, biodegradable dishware and cutlery
➽ Other waste: Things such as industrial waste from the inks used to create our beautiful posters, or leftover building materials, for example, must go to a certified waste unit

Additionally, our very own super helpful 𝗠𝗒𝗒𝗣 𝗧π—₯π—’π—¨π—£π—˜ will be walking around the festival helping to keep the grounds clean for us, and educating other attendees on sustainability and recycling. Feel free to reach out to them if you're unsure of where to throw something away, or you have any other questions at all! They're there to help!

𝗠𝗒𝗒𝗣 stands for π™ˆπ™–π™©π™©π™šπ™§ π™Šπ™ͺ𝙩 π™Šπ™› π™‹π™‘π™–π™˜π™š and refers to anything that does not belong in its original environment. This ranges from left-behind camping gear, litter, and debris all the way to confetti and glitter particles. For this reason, we ask that all attendees only bring bio-degradable glitter and soap, as the other kind is detrimental to the environment.

Thank you for your understanding & cooperationπŸ’š

Festivals around the world generate hundreds of thousands of tons of plastic waste, consume vast amounts of electricity, and emit tons of CO2 into the atmosphere as a result of the masses of people flocking to and from these events.

For four whole days, Lost But Found will be a temporary town, and home to many of you. Just like any city or town, ours will generate emissions, which are harmful to the environment. All of these emissions could be caused by numerous reasons (before, during, or after the festival), such as the following:

➽ Travel (from all the beautiful souls making their way to the festival, and your favorite artists that flying in from out-of-state or overseas, all the way to the stages, equipment, and construction materials that make their way to us from elsewhere)

➽ Electricity (including what's needed to power our lights all night long and keep the music going for more than 90 hours - across five stages - all the way to the electricity used from the endless emails and calls that were needed to organize the entire festival)

➽ Waste (from the plates and cups handed out by food vendors, the

➽ Merchandise (from the ink used to print our posters, all the way to the the factories making our clothing and the shipping involved)

➽ Special effects (including confetti, fireworks, pyrotechnics, fog, and haze)

To evaluate how much of a negative impact our festival has on the environment, we will be partnering with a company specializing in environmental solutions to quantitatively measure and calculate the size of the carbon footprint that our entire festival is generating, in order to be able to then effectively tackle and lessen these emissions.

As part of our commitment to the environment, we are allocating one percent (1%) of the proceeds of every single ticket purchase to a special carbon neutrality fund, which we will use to donate to certified non-governmental organizations dedicated to cleaning up the environment and reversing climate change. We hope that this would off-set any potential negative impact on the environment that putting on our festival might have.

Thank you for helping us accomplish this!
