Last post. I'm still offering free camping via Boondockers Welcome but I am quitting facebook because of their censorship and search algorithm manipulations. I'm not going to support facebook and the elimination of the freedom of speech and the bias that facebook promotes.

Hosted another boondocker's welcome member about a week ago. They were traveling from Utah to North Carolina.

The DEEP freeze is gone. We have a whole week with the highs in the 50s and 60s. Ideal for camping because the bugs are long gone.

It snowed yesterday, about an inch. I've been here 8 years and I've always gone south for the winter BEFORE this could or "should" happen. Its freak weather and it will warm back up again. Had a spectacular bon fire this morning. Super dry wood, not an ounce of smoke.

Denver could start Halloween morning near 0 degrees.

Fall is just around the corner and that's my favorite season here. Come visit, I have multiple sites with unlimited bonfire material available. Bring the marshmallows, I've got everything else.

Hosted another couple on April 20th from Boondockers Welcome and got another one scheduled for May 18th. Folks, Boondockers Welcome is one of the best RV websites on the net. Check them out at www.boondockerswelcome.com Why, because you're not crammed into an RV park, cheek to jowl with a whole bunch of other RVers and they always have a host or many multiple hosts on your route. Canada too, hundreds of them.

Free Overnight RV Parking on Private Property. Make new friends and sleep soundly. Locals invite travelers to spend the night, share their stories, and save their money for the real adventure.

It took long enough but spring has finally sprung. Looking at about five straight days where the highs are in the 70s. That means the grass is going to grow like its on steroids from all the moisture we've had.

I'm back to Burr Oak after wintering in Phoenix. Burr Oak is very soggy but all the flooding happened in Nebraska. I have concrete to park on if anybody happens to drive by on the way home from wintering.

Freakish weather continues to persist in the midwest. Forecast for tomorrow morning for Burr Oak is -8. Glad I'm wintering in the sunbelt, but you can always drop by on your way to or from the sunbelt. Take a break from horrendous urban traffic conditions.
