Member Appreciation Monday. Brady Faber. She’s a genuine all around bad ass and saw flat track racing and was like “yeah, I want to do that”, so she did. A heavy equipment operator, her worth has been worth her weight in gold. Always helping out on the roller or operating the big equipment with ease. A fantastic asset since joining and we’re lucky to have her.

Member Appreciation Monday. Larry Mischler. One of the OG’s of Beaver Cycle Club. He always makes himself available whenever we need him. A formidable opponent in his day, I love hearing the racing stories of the glory days. I think one includes Larry ending up in the creek. Thanks for all your help this year Larry! Post your favorite Larry story in the comments.

That’s a wrap on 2026. We started the year with some uncertainties on the possibility of continuing to run races and finished the year with our last race done before 9pm. I’m incredibly grateful for the Beavers that stepped up as well as all the new members carrying the torch. Onward and upward from here!

PS. Still looking to entertain a professional Trackside score person. Our club members working on it are kicking butt but an outside permanent help would be the bee’s knees so they can enjoy a race. Five events a year. Name your price. Or if you have your own program in mind that works with Westhold we’ll entertain that too. Let’s talk!

The transponders have been getting a little flack. But here is a cool feature of running them. Big thanks to Dairyland Racing for sponsoring the transponders the last few races.
