Recently I have decided not to travel to put on matches anymore. This match plus other matches I’m involved in would have me traveling 3 months out of the year and that’s just not feasible anymore.
There were a few people I would feel comfortable turning this match over to and they are in the same situation as I am. My first choice was to keep the long PAR time type stages and keep it at RPR. Since those few can’t continue the match, and instead of this match going away, I am moving it to the range where I work, Gravestone, located in Lipan, TX, which is about 25 minutes West of Ft Worth, TX.
Gravestone is a beautiful, clean range with a lot of unique features. An abundance of natural terrain is not one of them. We have some, but not like the trailer side of Reveille Peak Ranch. I don’t know many places that offers what RPR does.
For this reason, I am changing the style of the match to fit our foot print at Gravestone. It will be a two day, mostly large bay style match with a few long range Stages, and possibly and a natural terrain stage. The bay stages will be mostly option target stages.
To expand on option targets more:
Headed cardboard targets- Pistol or Slug
Octagon cardboard targets- Rifle or Slug
Falling Steel- Pistol or Birdshot
Static Steel- 50 yards or less-Pistol, 50 yards or more- Rifle. These will be painted certain colors to distinguish what’s under or over 50 yards.
Clays- Birdshot only

This will be a half day format. You can choose to shoot AM/PM or PM/AM.
