EDITED TO ADD:

I-5 is outside the flood plain and can be used for travel. Please do not drive over flooded roadways and practice "turn around, don't drown". Follow all road closure and cautionary signs and do not drive around barricades. Water can be deeper and faster moving than anticipated, presenting significant risk to drivers. Residents should monitor river levels and be ready for additional alerts.

City offices, the Library, and the Parks & Recreation offices will remain closed through Friday, December 12. The public should stay out of the 100 year flood plain area.

What a glorious and fun filled day in the park! A huge shout out and thank you to Burlington Edison, high school cheerleading team, football team, and boys and girls basketball team teams for the help setting up and breaking down , we love all of our vendors…..Marsha Kester, who kept us perfectly happy and entertained, and on our feet dancing, the most fabulous Emcee, Elaina, the City of Burlington and a big thank you to all of you who attended to make this a worthwhile effort!

We couldn't do all that is needed for setup and teardown for this event without the help of our younger, more spry, community members! They work so hard and we are incredibly grateful for their sweat equity and willingness to step up whenever asked. We honor their hard work with donations to each of their boosters.
