Boogie by the Bay Our mission is to promote swing dancing and to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all dancers.

Boogie by the Bay brings together more than 1,500 swing dancers from around the world for a weekend of workshops, competitions and social dancing.

Hi everyone! Due to high demand, we're doing a SECOND run of our t-shirts. You can order online here: https://boogiebythebay.com/shop/

⏰ Orders will be open through November 1 @ 11:59pm PT ⏰

● Style options: Crew Unisex, V-Neck Unisex, and Crop
● Logo options: Gold Sparkle & Red

Shirt production will take about 3-4 weeks. (Our print shop must first order the specific shirts & sizes, then run the printing job.)

● Size charts are available for each shirt type.
● Pickup options are available at local NextGen, MCS, and DYOS dances.
● Shipping is available within the US.
● Handoffs at an event are also possible! (Primarily US). For this option, please tell us which future events you'll be attending in the checkout notes!
● Our checkout system sometimes has issues with Apple Pay. Normal credit card checkout should work, though. (Apologies for this tech issue.)
● If you already placed an order at the event, you're already set and recorded in our system. :)

Joining us as Safety Liaison at Boogie 2025 is Riley Crozier!

Boogie by the Bay is once again partnering with Swing Reports & Restorations. Attendees can use Swing Reports & Restorations to report safety concerns/incidents of any magnitude regarding Boogie by the Bay 2025 prior to, during, or after the event. The program centers the reporter’s needs and requests, prioritizes reporter anonymity and/or confidentiality, and facilitates the restoration of safety whenever possible.

🌟 Juniors! 🌟 Did you know that Boogie 2025 is hosting a FREE Next Generational J&J on Friday? This is a special competition at Boogie by the Bay to support young dancers and encourage them to continue their dance journey!

Each Junior (17 years and under) will be paired with a random Champion or All-Star partner!

This is one of our favorite competitions to host (and watch!), as many of our pros started in WCS as juniors themselves ❣️

● Registering early helps comps run on time!
(But our comp fees DON’T go up at the event)

● Strictlies all take place on FRIDAY evening
● WSDC J&J prelims all happen on SATURDAY afternoon
● WSDC J&J finals all happen SUNDAY afternoon

● We have two special non-WSDC J&Js: The Next Generational J&J (FRIDAY) and Switchly J&J (SATURDAY)!

We’ll once again be marshaling before each heat — be sure to listen to announcements & check heat sheets to know when you’re up.
