A great write-up of Cinecon 62 from Film Threat! This year’s festival brought together rare films, classic TV, special presentations, and unforgettable appearances from celebrity honorees and special guests.

Thank you to Ethan Padgett and Film Threat for spending the day with us and capturing what makes Cinecon such a special celebration of classic film, preservation, and restoration.

Pat Boone, past Cinecon honoree and co-star of Barbara Eden, graciously accepted the Cinecon Legacy Award on her behalf after she was unable to attend last Saturday.

Mr. Boone also joined us to discuss the 1961 musical comedy All Hands on Deck, which he starred in alongside Ms. Eden. Following the screening, he generously stayed to sign autographs for the entire audience.

We were grateful to have him with us for such a special tribute to Barbara!

The incredible Nancy Kwan! 🌟 We were so proud to honor her this past Friday with the Cinecon Legacy Award following a screening of her 1961 film, Flower Drum Song.

Ms. Kwan was joined by her cousin, Kevin Kwan, author of the Crazy Rich Asians trilogy, and her husband, Norbert Meisel.

Following the screening, she signed copies of her book and took photos with fans.

That’s a WRAP on Cinecon 62 🎬 It’s been an amazing weekend - 5 days of film, celebrity honorees, special programs, kinescopes, book signings, movie memorabilia, and MORE.

Barbara spoke to the audience at Cinecon via phone and thanked everyone for their concern. Then everyone sang Happy Birthday to her.

The incredible Lainie Kazan! We were so proud to honor Ms. Kazan on Thursday evening after a screening of her hilarious 1982 comedy, "My Favorite Year". Her co-stars Anne De Salvo and Teresa Ganzel were in attendance, as well as friend Lynn Roth and Ms. Kazan's granddaughter, Bella Blue.

Cinecon is still running today and tomorrow, so be sure to come out to the Nuart Theatre to see rare films, celebrity guests, and special presentations.
