Friday Night’s SoCal Westy Blackout Friday at WWLA will feature a Mix and Match Competition!

A Mix and Match competition is the West Coast Swing equivalent of an All-American - meaning, ALL levels are welcome (Beginners - Allstars)!

Cash prize for the winners!

This competition will occur during SoCal Westy’s Blackout Friday on August 22, 2025.

Get your ticket online or at the door!

Rules:
- The partner you draw is the partner you will dance with in all rounds of Mix and Match, which will include a preliminary round and a final.
- Each judge will choose their favorite couple to compete in finals.
- Please no aerials, lifts, or anything where both feet are off the floor, and please be aware of all the couples on the floor!
- If you are a lead put the number on your back; and if you are a follow, number lower on the hips.

Enter your line dance in one of three categories (max of 1 entry per category per choreographer) and you could win a 2026 WWLA weekend pass AND have your dance taught at WWLA 2025!

Entry deadline: August 15, 2025

Must have weekend pass to enter competition. Demo dancers are not required to have a full weekend pass.
