Veterans Race - Buffalo Veterans Race is for young, old, civilian or military to preserve, protect and honor all who served. There is an on-site as well as Virtual run option.

This page is dedicated to the annual 5K run, The Veterans Race in Buffalo NY. The virtual run option is great for those folks who want to support this race, our veterans, and our charity but cannot at the race in Buffalo, NY on race day. Virtual runners will receive all race swag as if they were onsite based on when they register. They will not be eligible for age group prizes though. We encourage

On this Veterans Day, we would like to recognize one veteran from the race who is a fighter. Our 79 year old, Army Veteran, who served in Vietnam. He needed the assistance of a few hero runners that day but the latest update is that he continues to improve and in good spirits. The family is asking if you were someone who helped and are comfortable, could, please reach out to the race director at [email protected]. The family would like to express their gratitude. Results - corrections made.
The previous results showed a veteran 5K and a veteran 10k race category. That was incorrect. For clarification, the 5k race is everyone combined, likewise with the 10k. But we reward the top Overall and Veteran Overall m/f in each race. That is always how we have done it.

Many of you were concerned about the individual who needed emergency medical assistance. He made it and is in stable condition!

Thank you to those who jumped in to help and to our first responders.
