Through Nov 1, Enough: Plays to End Gun Violence is calling on TEEN WRITERS to submit 10-MIN PLAYS confronting GUN VIOLENCE. Select writers will receive $500 sponsored by Change the Ref, be published by Playscripts, Inc., receive memberships and craft training from The Dramatists Guild of America and be produced in a nationwide reading on April 20, 2022 - the 23-year remembrance of Columbine. The goal: submissions and readings in all 50 states!

Welcome to our new Education Director, Tracie Lane Thomason!

Tracie is an actor, educator and a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association. She has performed at Lincoln Center, off-Broadway, and in regional theaters and for Shakespeare festivals across the United States. Tracie holds a BA in Theatre from the University of Houston School of Theatre & Dance and an MFA from the Drama Division at the Juilliard School, Group 48.

Alleyway Theatre will hold open auditions July 5, 6, and 11, 2021. Please prepare a 60-90 second memorized contemporary monologue. If you sing, please also prepare a short contemporary musical theatre song and bring sheet music, accompanist provided. Arrive early for your timeslot and bring a hardcopy headshot/resume. Roles are available in both the current and upcoming seasons for actors of all types and ages. We look forward to seeing you.
