Who is ART/WNY?

ART/WNY may not be eating lunch at the popular kid's table nor will you be able to put a down payment on a new BMW by working on our stage but here's the deal - multiple actors who weren't getting any opportunities to show their chops on other stages found robust roles highlighting their talents through ART/WNY. Many of them are now acting in the larger budget theaters.

With that, in the 19 year history of presenting, ART/WNY has collected 12 ensemble nominations and 26 individual nominations for acting and directing, we may not be the most popular theater but we earn recognition for the talent and effort brought to our stages.

That next talent could be you.

Lastly, ART/WNY is a company values genuine creativity and craft. That's our company, We hope to see you at the generals.

The final pillar of the Five Pillars of 21st Century Anxiety Kleshas has as much foundation as the San Andreas Fault. The shiftingness, the weightlessness, the incomplete symmetry found in “Is this gluten-free or not to be” can be overwhelming in our modern life.

We have Carl (played by Nick Winger). The Commedia dell’arte “Zanni” of John Snodgrass’ Ready Set Rerun. He is a man of improv who is handed a script to learn in a Life Lesson one-act play.
