Our 8 week program teaches life lessons about self- respect, self awareness and team work through a healthy education, all while training the girls for a 5K race. Girls on the Run is a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. unning event. The COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly changed our society, inflicting stress and sometimes fear into our daily lives. For over 10 years, Girls on the Run of Buffalo has delivered research-based programming focused on spreading joy, teaching healthy habits and building confidence in all girls. Amid these uncertain times, it is our responsibility to empower, educate and inspire the next generation of girls.
