🍓 NOW ACCEPTING BOARD OF DIRECTORS APPLICATIONS! 🍓

Are you ready to help shape one of West Virginia’s grandest traditions? The West Virginia Strawberry Festival is officially opening applications for passionate, dedicated individuals to join our 85th Board of Directors!

Before you apply, we want to peel back the curtain and be entirely transparent about what it means to wear a Board badge.

🛠️ Behind the Scenes, Beyond the Spotlight:

If you love our festival and want to be part of its future, you need to know that the magic doesn’t just happen, it’s built. We are a highly active, working VOLUNTEER board.

🥱The Commitment:

While we have official monthly meetings, true membership requires a hands-on commitment multiple times a month (and often multiple times a week or even daily as May approaches).

👏The Reality:

We aren't looking for people who just want to enjoy a fun festival experience from the front row or stand in the spotlight. We are looking for the team that arrives before dawn, stays past midnight, moves barricades, coordinates logistics, and handles the heavy lifting when no one is watching.

🏆 The Reward:

Your reward isn't public recognition. It’s the quiet pride of looking out at a crowd of thousands of smiling faces and knowing YOUR hard work made it possible.

🫵 Who We Are Looking For:

Doers, not just planners. People who roll up their sleeves and dive into the grit of event ex*****on.
Reliable teammates. Volunteers who show up consistently, communicate effectively, and follow through on critical tasks.

🤝 Community champions.

Individuals who find genuine fulfillment in serving Buckhannon and the entire state from behind the scenes.

If you have a strong work ethic, a resilient team spirit, and the time to dedicate to a genuinely demanding but incredibly rewarding cause, we want to hear from you. 🍓

Beyond that, we’re speechless.

Year after year, you help us set records, and we did it in groundbreaking fashion this year for EVERY. SINGLE. EVENT. ✅

We’ve got plenty more to share, but for now, all we can say is thank you for attending, participating, and supporting . It was truly one for the record books. 🍓
