West Virginia Wesleyan College Jazz Ensemble The West Virginia Wesleyan College Jazz Ensemble, also called the "Big Band," is the flagship ensemble of Wesleyan's jazz area.

Directed by Dr. James Moore, the Wesleyan Jazz Ensemble, or "Big Band," is an up and coming collegiate jazz ensemble. It is one of several small and large jazz ensembles that are a part of Wesleyan's thriving jazz area. Its membership consists of music and non-music majors and students are afforded the chance to perform and work with some of the greatest jazz musicians in the region.
