Cactus & Cans Barrel Race Arizona's Premier Senior Barrel Race Contestants may enter on the same horse in two different sessions and win multiple checks on the same horse.

Cactus and Cans Barrel Race, which is the first Premier Senior Arizona Barrel Race event, will be held on March 2 & 3, 2023 at the South Buckeye Equestrian Center. The event is one race over the two days, open only to women 50 years and up, and will feature side pots for each age group, with 80% payout, and prizes in each D. This is the only barrel race of its kind in this area, right in the middl

e of the busiest season of Arizona rodeo events. Cactus & Cans is being produced by Toni Karre, who was the Turquoise Circuit Director for the WRPA for three years – 2017, 2018 and 2019. Now that the dust has settled I first want to thank all the contestants for choosing Cactus and Cans. You all made this event so great!
