Introducing your 2026 Buckeye Days Grand Marshal, Sherry Saylor!
Sherry Saylor is a longtime Buckeye resident and respected agricultural and community leader. She served on the American Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee for over 30 years, including as national chair from 2015 to 2021, and previously held leadership roles with both the American Farm Bureau Federation and the Arizona Farm Bureau. Sherry has been a Farm Bureau member since 1974 and continues to serve on multiple state committees, including the Arizona Farm Bureau board of directors and Arizona AgPAC.
Sherry has spent 40 years as a school guidance counselor at Buckeye Elementary School and continues to serve the students at the school. She is also active in local service, serving on the Way-Out West Drug Coalition board and frequently speaking for Christian Women’s Clubs across the Southwest.
In 2024, she was honored as Buckeye’s Citizen of the Year and received the Arizona Farm Bureau Lifetime Achievement Award.
Sherry and her husband, Rick, a third-generation farmer, operate R&S Farms, a diversified row-crop farm. They have two grown children and five grandchildren and remain deeply involved in their church and community.
